Magnificent Frigatebird:  September 25, 2005, Bishop Point, Caddo Parish, La.  This is the first observation of this species in Caddo Parish on record.  This bird was seen one day after the remnants of hurricane Rita passed through the area.  Seabirds are often swept inland ahead of large storms.  This bird was flying south returning to the Gulf of Mexico.
