Cloudless Sulphur Caterpillar (yellow form): Keithville, September 13, 2005.  This caterpillar traveled 104 feet due east in 110 minutes from the host plant to this location where it formed its chrysalis. This is almost a foot a minute.  This is an average speed of about a foot per minute.
